students will become better actors and singers as a direct result of his

enthusiasm is contagious, and he made sure all of us left with something

Latta has a way of bringing the best out of you…his methods work every time.
The best part about working with Dr. Latta is that…he knows what you need
before you do. Matthew Latta is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Thank You Dr. Latta.”

"Dr. Latta came to teach at Vincennes University in the Fall of 2008. Since I am the staff accompanist, he and I have collaborated on many projects together and I have found him to be hard working, always prepared, very professional and easy to work with. While attending some of his voice lessons with students, it is quite evident that his students have a great deal of respect for him. In collaborating with his voice students privately, they are always prepared, know what is expected of them and work very hard to achieve what Matt expects of them."
